With new modules from eBay and others, Squidoo has gained momentum as a great way to share information, links and recommendations about virtually anything.

You may have noticed the New York Times article about Squidoo that appeared on April 10. As described, Squidoo Lensemasters share what could only be described as a wildly eclectic collection of recommendations and information on the site. Lenses (at least in my experience) are also enjoying success in the form of rising page ranks in relevant searches for the topics they cover.

(Hopefully, this blog post also marks the end (knock wood) of the technical issues that have plagued our site recently. Apologies for the downtime!)

Anyway, here are two new lenses I created today:

In Clothes that Fit, you'll discover my favorite eBay clothing seller who can save you a fortune on top quality closeouts, no matter what size you wear.

Iowa is Purple was inspired by a recent blog post and attempts to introduce Iowa and its remarkable caucus process to the legions of journalists and politicians who will soon descend on the Heartland in pursuit of the 2008 presidential nod.

Why not create your own Squidoo Lens?
